These are quotes collected from many sources that I believe are applicable in our culture today.

Trash the bad experiences with “hypocrites” and bitter experiences with “religion” and focus on Jesus and a personal relationship with Him.
— Larry Poland

The first and most obvious mark of a fool is their arrogant assertion that God doesn’t exist or that, if He does, He must be unknowable.  When confronted with these arguments from atheists or agnostics, the late J. Edwin Orr would ask,
“How much of all the knowledge in the universe do you think is now possessed by human beings?”
Usually the proportion cited was less than ten percent.
“How much of all the knowledge possessed by human beings of all time do you, personally, feel that you possess?”
This question usually drew an uncomfortable chuckle and an estimate of less than one percent.  At this point, Orr would drive the stake into the discussion with the question:
“Do you think it’s possible that God might exist outside the realm of your knowledge?”
— J. Edwin Orr

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty.

Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force.
Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.”

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
— Thomas Jefferson

“To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.”
— Adolf Hitler

“To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

Threats from the Left’s Agenda:

(This is what we do not want to find ourselves lamenting one day when it is too late:
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
— Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago

“What was once stigmatized as deviant behavior is now tolerated and even sanctioned; what was once regarded as abnormal has been normalized . . . . As deviancy is normalized, so what was once normal becomes deviant. The kind of family that has been regarded for centuries as natural and moral – the ‘bourgeois’ family as it is invidiously called – is now seen as pathological.”

— Gertrude Himmelfarb,  (Gertrude Himmelfarb (born August 8, 1922), also known as Bea Kristol, is an American historian. She has been a leader of conservative interpretations of history and historiography. She has written extensively on intellectual history, with a focus on Britain and the Victorian era, as well as on contemporary society and culture.)

“The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented.  From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, it has delivered anguish and devastation and failure.”
 — Donald Trump in address to United Nations on 9/19/2017

“…the left believes that the quickest way to destroy Western civilization is no longer class warfare but multicultural warfare: Simply ally with groups that hate the prevailing system and work with them to take it down. Then, the left will build on the ashes of the old system.”
— Ben Shapiro

The left has made idols of “diversity” and “multiculturalism,” but all cultures are not equal.
— Gary L. Bauer

“Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized form of illegitimate government.”
— James Madison
